Inspiration means different things to different people, on the surface level what helps me might not be useful to you - I understand that. I also understand that beneath that surface are reasons that make up a bigger picture. Whether your inspiration comes from catch phrases, religion, stories, poems or words, there are needs inside that make us seek this inspiration in the first place. We're looking for something. Maybe an answer, some hope, a push to accomplish things, strength to deal with unpleasant situations, a better or more meaningful way to live, paths to happiness and peace, motivation to greatness or just some trusted, sound advice - I know I can provide that for you. The process will take time and effort - but finding and using your own unique answers, paths and ways in life is worth it, isn't it? Let me ask you something. If at a very young age you became interested in cars and started paying more attention to them, would you eventually learn more about them? If you then started reading about specific cars you like, would it increase your understanding of cars in general? If over time you became so interested in cars you studied the various makes and models, the materials and processes used in making cars and fully examined your own car in every detail all day long - roughly how long would it take for you to consider yourself good with cars? If you were fixing your own car, do you think friends and family members would ask you to fix theirs? Wouldn't it be possible people would start calling you from work and asking something like, "hey, I'm here with my boss and her car is making this noise when it's on the highway - what do you think it is"? Maybe you'd work on cars on the side for spare money. Maybe you'd work at a garage or start your own business working on cars. At what point could you consider yourself a professional, expert or reliable source of information about cars? From a very young age I was interested in how things worked and how they were made. I remember watching Mister Rogers and seeing clips from factories where things were made and ran on conveyor belts for different phases of assembly. I used to get in trouble all the time for taking things apart to try and see how they worked, and not being able to put them together again. I also wondered how some people could be nice and kind to me and why others would be mean, spiteful and petty. I wondered why I would think, act and do things the way I did and wondered if there were other ways. I would watch people everywhere I went and saw their reactions to various situations and noticed such major differences, I felt like I needed to know why. I was never afraid to ask questions because I really wanted to understand, but the answers I got from people in real life directly weren't useful because they never matched the way the people lived. My own parents would hand me information like don't smoke because it's bad for you while coughing with cigarettes dangling from their mouths. So much conflicting information from so many sources over so much time, I wanted answers and I wouldn't stop looking until I found them. I read from bibles and other religious books, psychology, science, writings and speeches of religious and political figures, sports champions and coaches, leaders from various times and places, motivational speakers and just about anything from people considered great, brilliant or outstanding in their field by others. I listened to books on tape, started buying audio programs on CD and studied them for years on end. I found my answers and I learned so much - but it wasn't until after I started practicing what I learned that I realized the power of what I absorbed over the years. Not just in this studying either - I'm talking about real life, street level experience as well. My gift is simplicity. I am a simple person and have a way of taking something massive and complicated and making it small and simple. I don't lie or twist the truth - but I really get into the guts of things and can take sophisticated concepts and put them into simple, everyday terms that all people can understand and use. Through repetition and examples I can relay the facts I've learned, the similarities I've seen, the big truths and answers and chop them so finely, they can be digested by anyone. The things I've learned should be known and practiced by all people. Simple facts backed by understanding and practice make people capable, happy, wealthy, peaceful, strong, wise, honest, trustworthy, fun, spiritually grounded and great - but never, ever perfect because perfection is a myth. I can tell you from firsthand experience and witnessing thousands of examples elsewhere that when the truth about us and our world is known and practiced - ideas take wings, problems become smaller and more manageable, things become more meaningful and life itself becomes more simple and enjoyable. There are virtually no limits and this fact can be proven - I hope you'll stay long enough to see it with your own eyes and then some. So though your visit to Inspirational.com today may not have quickly and readily provided the quick fix you may have originally come looking for - I'm certain that extended exposure to this website and the simple truths it reveals combined with practice and dedication can satisfy your long term objectives and help you decide for yourself and obtain a bigger picture of how things should be in your life, the world and within yourself. You decide the picture and I will help you paint it. Life is paint by numbers - you can not fail unless you fail to try (and by try I don't mean 1 or 2 times, this is a continued effort over time adjusted as needed). If any of this seems too big, unreal or complicated right now - keep reading, keep trying, keep noticing and I promise it will get easier and more usable in time with effort and focus. I am trying daily to take what I know and continue to learn and make it even simpler - I'm sure there are ways and I will find them. Until that time, keep yourself going forward by reading, listening, watching and comparing - what makes sense? What is and is not working? Could I have been mislead by lack of direction? Could good things I've heard be real and the bad things I've been telling myself be make believe? Could I have lived this long and still be totally off course? Might there be more to life and my involvement in it than I've led myself to believe? Human history is full of brilliance and ignorance - unfortunately society has chosen to focus on, learn and repeat the acts of ignorance and completely ignore the truth of brilliance, control, love, honor, dignity, sameness, choice and ability that have existed, dangling in our faces for thousands of years. The purpose of my life is to help right this wrong. My goal is to change the world by helping and giving more than I have ever taken away from. When I'm gone I want a hill of kindness, truth, understanding and building up to exist in my place instead of a hole of deception, confusion, lack and tearing down or taking away from - which many people find all too comfortable leaving as their mark on our world. It is now my wildest dream and growing reality that I may help humanity and earn a living for my family doing so. I know we ALL want things and I have been blessed to finally understand how to get those things while doing good, being honest, helping and enjoying more than I ever imagined possible. I want to help you and everyone else. I am absolutely certain I can serve you and others in some small way here. We can help each other - by my helping you reach your goals, you are automatically helping me reach mine and others with theirs. It's an amazing cycle that builds happiness and does not fail. Knowledge, understanding and guided effort make it happen and universal law keeps it going - if you don't understand now, you will, just stay in the game with continued study and practice and it will come, it's just a matter of time and effort. We can only teach by learning and learn by doing - it takes your dreams and efforts to make that happen. My goals, dreams and desires only help me - it takes time and directed effort to paint that larger picture for ourselves. Only you can do that for you, but I can show you how it is real, possible and easy - right here on this site. Plus there are countless sources of the same information in every bookstore and library. It will likely take more than one source to truly get it and start a never ending path based on likes, loves and substance that collects our dreams and leaves happiness, peace and understanding in their place. Like I mentioned earlier, I'm steadily working to further simplify - so it may eventually only require one source but until that time I will also be recommending other outstanding sources as time and focus permit. Even if there are times when you feel you are alone - I am here and I truly do care.
