The big secret to living your dreams is in starting. The first step that most people miss is taking the time to have the dreams in the first place.

We normally go around wanting things to the point of wishing or complaining about not having them, but that's as far as it ever gets.

The magic comes in having the dream and having it often. Keep in mind, that a dream is always positive - anything negative is a nightmare and not the same thing. It's important to understand the truth in that.

A dream always looks forward with fondness or eager anticipation of a positive outcome, item, feeling or event that benefits you or other people.

If you suffer from depression, anger or some other self destructive mindset - you may dream of having happiness or peace of mind.

The dream in that case is NOT had by thinking, "I'm depressed, I wish I was happy" or "people are so stupid, they really make me angry". This kind of thinking is backward, negative and out of line with the ultimate dream.

In order to obtain happiness or peace of mind from a place where anger or depression currently exist you'll have to change the way you think and do things to dream it in a way that ultimately leads to the reward.

There are no excuses, past thoughts or self-limiting beliefs in a proper dream. The right kind of dream puts you in touch with the things you want in a way where you can already feel yourself enjoying them in advance.

First and often, you'll need to think about what you want. Items, feelings and experiences that will make you feel good, have a good time, provide benefits for yourself or others and even set you up to benefit in the future.

Imagine yourself enjoying these things and making things happen. Imagine the positive benefits and even potential obstacles so you can plan for those in advance. Think about ways to obtain these dreams in a way where everyone wins and feels good about your dream coming to life.

Your dreams can only be important if you make them important - keeping in mind that your brain only thinks something is important if you think about it very often. By habit, people usually only think about problems and potential problems often which only leads to more problems and suffering.  The ticket out is to switch what you spend the majority of time thinking about from backward and negative to forward and positive.

Dream your dreams! If it is forward, positive and right for you - don't let ANYONE tell you it's stupid, lame or a waste of time - EVER. As long as your dreams don't cause harm for anyone you have EVERY right to dream them as often as you wish. You also have the right and ability to make every, single one come true in your every day life. All it ever takes is directed, focused effort over time based on a dream. If you've got the dream you're already half way there.

If you don't have the dreams, take the time to make these things important in your life. Know that you can have them, know that it's your right to dream them in the first place and know that the only person who can truly stop you is yourself - because ultimately you have the final word in the things you think, say and do.

Dream of ways to help yourself, dream of ways to change your life and enjoy it while you've got it, dream to help the people you care about. Maybe you want a sophisticated life full of expensive things - or maybe you want a simpler life with less things to be concerned with, but it's entirely up to you either way.

If you can dream the dream you can have the dream in reality. And you CAN dream the dream any time you choose and anywhere you are.

The best place to dream is somewhere quiet - away from people, television, radio or anything else that can distract your thoughts. It's also good to have paper and something to write with or a computer nearby, to put thoughts in a more concrete form that may serve as a reminder or plans for you.

It's also a good idea to keep your dreams to yourself while they're only in thought form to prevent negative people from trying to poke holes in them. Just keep it to yourself, the world can enjoy it when you create it in reality - THAT is the time to sing out about your dreams, when we can all see and enjoy them equally in reality.

Also keep in mind since it's probably not your current habit to dream regularly, you'll need to remind yourself to do it daily. Keep pictures that represent your dreams near you in places where you can see them normally. Write down phrases or words that remind and inspire you to think about (and do things) related to your dreams.

Have the dream and make it any way you choose - don't allow society or individuals to cloud your vision, this is ALL YOURS.

Keep your thinking focused forward on these awesome, new, beneficial things that you'll enjoy.

Every day without fail take the time to enjoy the thoughts of the things you'll be working toward in your future.

Think the thoughts, write the plans, take the actions and repeat. Form new habits that draw you closer to your dreams like a magnet. Start small and slow and work gradually over time.

Dream it, see it, feel it, enjoy it, get it, appreciate it, protect it and share it with the world.

This is YOUR life. Fill it full of your dreams and enjoy every second you've got because you never know when disease or stupidity may come to take it away. Live and dream like your life is important - because it's the most important life you'll ever encounter.

Take care of yourselves and each other!

You can do anything!
